The business was established in 2004 and is led by Luba Penman.

​

 After 6 years of running the business and

as a part of her personal and professional development she studied Garden Design and Horticulture at the highly acclaimed Merrist Wood College and obtained First Class BA Hons in Garden Design in 2013.

​

​During the study she took a work placement at RHS Wisley Gardens. 

​

 

 

She was born in the city of Arkhangelsk USSR.

The city of  bears, Arctic convoys, and 24 hours daylight.

​

She studied Russian Literature gaining a Master’s Degree followed by a teaching career.

​

Later becoming a farming entrepreneur during the turbulent Perestroika period - running a small farm near Saint Petersburg before moving to UK in 2002.
